On the 18th of July, 7
scouts and 5 adults went on an outing to Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic
Monument. First, they went to the Johnston Ridge Observatory, then camped
overnight. In the morning, they met with the survivors J of the Mount Saint Helens 50 miler to go hike
through Ape Caves, a 2.47 mile long lava tube. This was a very fun outing, and
it was very cool to hike in the caves.
